Viewpoint: SPLOST IV: Local School Priority Requests
"A Promise Not Kept by DeKalb County Schools"

  1. Why wasn't the Local School Priority Request list brought to the BOE? How is custodial equipment part of the Capital Improvement Plan?

How can we trust Josh Williams with another SPLOST when he obviously misled the BOE about this? He never mentioned the funding was coming from the SPLOST IV budget, the agenda item was under Facilities Management, not SPLOST. The same old mindset still permeates the central office. Until Dr. Green makes many more changes in administrative personnel, this kind of thing will continue to happen. To be fair, the BOE failed to provide any oversight. No one is providing any accountability.
