Georgia State Board of Education Approves Peachtree Charter Middle School Charter Renewal Petition!!

Including this comment from Terry Nall.  I believe it speaks for us all...

Dear PCMS Community present and future,

We are proud to say that the project to renew the PCMS Charter which began in June 2014 has been successfully completed. The renewal petition for PCMS was approved by the Georgia State Board of Education allowing us to remain a charter school until June 30, 2021.

Academic possibilities as well as school governance responsibilities are the largest components of our new charter. The petition is available for you to read  on our website under the Foundation tab.  A letter will be sent home shortly highlighting what this new charter provides PCMS.

Thank you to all who worked so diligently on this renewal effort.  Educators and parents united to protect the opportunities, possibilities and resources available to the students at PCMS in order to retain our charter school status.

  1. 780+ days (over two years). That's how long Allegra Johnson and her Peachtree Charter Middle School charter team worked diligently and tirelessly in making sure the school's charter of innovation was renewed for another five-year term. Thank you Allegra and team - you didn't give up. You're a critical part of A Better Dunwoody!
