  1. Is anyone else bothered by DCSD now saying that E-SPLOST-V money won't be used for a new elementary school to provide overcrowding relief in the northern part of the Cross Keys district?

Instead, this schools is dependent on the public approving a bond referendum, per the chart included in the Dunwoody Cluster post.

Since May DCSD has been stating that $60 million in E-SPLOST-V funds would be used for TWO elementary schools to relieve overcrowding in the Cross Keys cluster.

Why did they abandon giving relief to the elementary schools in the northern part of the Cross Keys cluster, after promising it for 6 months?

  2. I believe one Cross Keys cluster ES is scheduled under current funding? The list above is for E-SPLOST V. I'll need to check.

  3. Well, I was wrong. It appears the district is backtracking on its promise of a new Doraville elementary school. See Ms. Rebekah Morris' post:

No New Elementary School for Cross Keys? and More
