Dunwoody Crier: Professionals lend hand to DHS Wildcat’fe

I love when members of the community step in and help out our schools.  Kudos to Morrison Community Living and the Dunwoody Woman's Club for their contributions to the Wildcat'fe.

"The Wildcat’fe, a fully operational coffee shop, is part of a cooking program for students with intellectual disabilities at Dunwoody High School. The program started six years ago as a small classroom coffee shop simply selling coffee and cinnamon rolls to teachers to raise money to buy Special Olympics T-shirts for the students."

Professionals lend hand to DHS Wildcat'fe

When the 2011 DHS school renovation included an instructional galley kitchen, the program was renamed the Wildcat'fe and became a real café for two hours every Tuesday morning, serving the entire school with coffee, iced mocha, hot chocolate, fruit juices and a variety of items, such as sausage biscuits, cookies, brownie bites, muffins and magic bars.
